Upon
setting foot at MEU, I was impressed with the high-levelled proactive
professional teamwork incorporating various competencies, skills and
qualities. There is continuous interaction among teams which is a
self-motivator providing excellent in-house knowledge-sharing and
development programmes. The work at MEU is varied
and I look forward to each day’s new challenges. Thanks to the
organisation’s personal development strategies and flexi-time policies,
I have assertively climbed up my career ladder, reading a part-time course
in management studies at the University of Malta.

One
of the best parts of the MEU is the stimulating people I work with. The
constant interaction with interesting and motivated people creates a
unique learning environment. The office feel is great -- collegial, fun,
and professional. The positive energy generated by various social
gatherings between us at MEU permeates into our work culture whereby
through teamwork, work turns out to be more engaging and fun.

Professionally
at the MEU there is a symbiotic meeting of people from various different
professional backgrounds. I myself have a background in media and
communications and you can find yourself working with people from
backgrounds in management, architecture, sciences and even arts. The scope of the work is so vast, you always can
look forward to working on something different, and no two days are the
same. I like the feeling that I’m doing something which in the end will
benefit a lot of people, whether it’s in education, environment,
healthcare, or any other service provided by Government.
