Information
on the www.meu.gov.mt web site conforms to guidelines designed
to help easy navigation.
Navigation
To assist users to navigate through the sections of the web site, each
of the www.meu.gov.mt pages
has a menu bar at the top of the screen. Where relevant a text navigation section down
the left hand side of the screen assists the user to
navigate through these sections.
The
text links include a description box informing the user
where the link will go. This can be viewed by placing the
pointer over the text.
Site
Specific
The
www.meu.gov.mt web site has been designed with all users in
mind. The
standard outline guide for the site was for an SVGA
resolution monitor (800 x 600) using 256 colours. The
site is best viewed in Internet Explorer.
Searching
The
search facility is limited to the MEU web
site. To
complete a search the user has to enter a word or
collection of words into the text search box. Pressing the
return key or clicking on the search button will present
the user with a listing of documents which correspond to
the search details. These results will be rated, the most
complete matches will be listed first, decreasing in
relevence as the user goes further down the list.
Submitting
feedback
www.meu.gov.mt
supplies a feedback
form to give users an opportunity to inform the unit of any problems they may be experiencing.
Once
the form has been completed the user must click on the
submit button at the bottom of the page. This will forward
the information to the www.meu.gov.mt
service.
We
cannot reply to every query but each one will be read and
acted upon where necessary.
