In
Communication Strategies we systematically gather information from the client to define the message that
is to be communicated and to establish the target audience. The
nature of the audience is determined as accurately as possible in
terms of demographics, geographics and psychographics.
The
strategy takes into consideration the extent to
which the target audience is really concerned together with a judgement of the
appropriate mix of public relations, advertising and other forms of
communication.
Traffic
Safety Campaign
The
MEU
supported the Protective Services Branch of the Malta Police Force with the
design of an education campaign for traffic motorists as part of the Force’s
objective to improve road safety. The MEU was tasked with the
implementation of all facets of the seven-month Campaign.
e-Government
Communications Campaign
The
M anagement
Efficiency Unit (MEU) is currently involved in a joint team effort with the Central
Information Management Unit and the Ministry for Justice and Local Government
with the brief for the design and implementation of a communications strategy
for e-Government, with the aim of increasing awareness and confidence in
e-Government, encouraging uptake of the services and social inclusion. As part of
this exercise, the MEU is also involved in surveying the
general population and the business community.
